They’re looking for a ‘sales pitch’ and missing every word you say to them in the process. Your product could be the best one in the world, you could be doing everything right, talking about benefits as you ought to be but because they can’t hear you, your message is as good as lost. So, how can you ‘slip’ into their subconscious minds unnoticed and ‘pull’ a few strings so that they do exactly what you say? You need to REMOVE, pull down or tear down their resistance barriers. But you can’t get busted! You need to relax and engage your prospects and clients and then, in between, carefully plant the seeds of your message or your sales pitch. Then, BINGO! Once their ‘resistance barriers’ are switched off it becomes a child’s play. They are calm and relaxed. Your story will reach their hearts – the factory of their motivation, desires and willingness to BUY. By doing this you will spend less on marketing and have a greater impact while advancing the relationship you have with your clients. And the MAGIC KEY that makes this easy and ‘idiot-proof’ is... The appropriate use of humour. BECAUSE people are finding it harder and harder to relax these days, the use of appropriate humour will be well received. They will give your sales presentation a chance. At the very least, they’ll hear you out with an open mind. And that’s every marketer’s wildest dream. When you make people laugh, it turns them on in many fascinating ways. One of those is that they want to spend more money with you. The key, of course, is not to be a clown or to bamboozle your market with dirty jokes. You need to use humour in the context of exponential strategies. Let me be crystal clear here. They key is to execute your exponential strategies with a pinch of carefully selected humour that fits into the context of your message and helps you reach your marketing objectives faster and with less resistance.
